Maybe the thought of branding your studio is repugnant to you because of its explicit commercial nature. In my view, branding is a very natural component of any business and so you need to brand your studio intentionally.
The reason I say this is that your yoga studio will brand whether you do it by design or do nothing. Why? Because branding is a result of what types of classes you teach, your name, your publicity message, your location – it’s the perception of your total benefits and features.
You can’t avoid branding. So, with that in mind, dismiss all repugnant feelings about branding and accept it as inevitable. Since branding is inevitable, then direct it rather than let it happen, so that you can optimally deliver your benefit to your clientele.
Branding your studio encompasses a great deal of how you set up your studio, primarily through the yoga studio features and benefits you offer.
In addition to the features and benefits, the following contribute to your branding:
- your studio position: will you teach yoga, manage the studio, or both?
- yoga studio name,
- great logo for your yoga studio,
- build trust and credibility as a yoga teacher, and
- tell your yoga studio bio.
