Answer these questions before starting your yoga business.
What benefits does your yoga studio offer that will make people want to visit your studio more than once? In other words, what is your unique selling position (USP)?
I say more than once, because almost any yoga studio can get a decent number of people to try out their studio once. The key to a thriving yoga studio is loyal clientele. In order to build a yoga studio business that you will enjoy, and get to the heart of why people should go to your yoga studio, answer these 3 questions:
- Why do you want to own a yoga studio?
- Why will yoga students return to your yoga studio?
- Is there enough demand for your yoga studio?
The answer to question 2 is your unique selling position (USP).
Every marketing plan, which is an integral part of a business plan, needs a clear USP. In a nutshell, your USP is the benefit(s) you deliver to your clients. Once you know the benefits you offer to your clientele, then you choose and implement your studio’s features that will deliver the benefit. The features together develop your branding.
