Happy Yoga Students = More Yoga Students + Thriving Yoga Business.
As a yoga studio owner, you know a great yoga class is an experience that can’t be replicated in a home on one’s own. There’s something great that happens in a great yoga class. However, you never want to be obvious about telling students that they should attend yoga in a studio.
In fact, I suggest you encourage a home practice to your students. After all, yoga is good, and if people do more of it, that’s good. Also, when it becomes part of one’s life, and your yoga classes are truly great, then the home practitioners may very likely include yoga sessions at your studio.
Now, I suggest you take encouraging a home practice one step further. Consider offering routines-of-the-week or month to your students. You or your teachers spend time planning new yoga routines – why not share them with your students? Let your yoga students practice those routines at home.
You can offer it on a sheet of paper available in your studio, an e-mail, on your website, in a newsletter – or via all these delivery methods. It could be a great online subscription service.
I also suggest you offer it for free.
Why do all this? Because, your students go to your classes because they like the classes. Why not let them take the classes home? Also, I know from experience I can’t remember the entire class routine. I don’t want to have to try and remember. I bet your yoga students are the same.
Giving your yoga routine for free is awesome yoga customer service
Offering this service, which costs you nothing in time or money, is a tremendous customer service to your students.
What about class attendance? I bet your students will be more inclined to attend your classes to get a real feel for the yoga routines you give them. Your students can do it with you in class, then practice at home.
So, not only will students attend your yoga classes to learn, but they’ll really appreciate all that you’re giving them. And appreciative students will keep coming back and spread the word about you.
Speaking of spreading the word – your yoga routines you provide will probably circulate beyond your students – whether in hard copy of virally online. Before you know it, your weekly or monthly routines will be practiced by yogis you’ve never met, but likely will, if and when they want to take a class.
You can’t get better yoga marketing than this!
